BGN continues to strengthen its Americas trading operations with the appointment of Pedro Ortega who joins BGN’s growing Houston based team as Trade Operations Executive, Crude and Distillates.
Pedro’s appointment follows BGN’s other recent US hires including Gustavo Giron, Head of Business Development, Americas and Roberto Perez, Senior Trader Crude, Americas.
Pedro joins BGN from Chevron’s Crude Supply & Trading team, where he managed the end-to-end scheduling of crude shipments including vessel optimisation, terminal operations, inventory management and cargo movements between Latin America and the US West Coast.
This most recent announcement further demonstrates BGN’s commitment to strategically expanding its operations across the Americas, driven by its Houston based US team.
