BGN has signed a long-term time charter agreement with IINO Lines for a new 90,000 cbm LPG dual-fuel Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC), further strengthening its growing global LPG shipping platform.

The vessel will be built by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea and is scheduled for delivery at the end of December 2029.

The dual-fuel vessel will be capable of operating on LPG as well as traditional marine fuels, contributing to lower carbon emissions while in operation. The vessel will also offer enhanced operational flexibility through its ability to transit both the Expanded and original Panama Canal.

The contract was signed by Emin Imanov, CEO Trade and Operations, BGN, and Yusuke Otani, President and Representative Director,, IINO Lines, at a ceremony held in Tokyo on 4 September.

The agreement reflects BGN’s continued investment in expanding its modern and efficient shipping fleet, while strengthening its long-term partnerships across the maritime industry.

BGN thanks IINO Lines for its collaboration and looks forward to building on this strategic partnership as both companies continue to support the growth of the global LPG supply chain.
