BGN signs joint venture with CCEC for its first LNG vessel

BGN has entered into a landmark joint venture with an affiliate of Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp. (CCEC) for the long-term charter and operation of its first LNG carrier, Amore Mio I.

The agreement, structured through joint venture company BM Capital LLC, marks a significant step in BGN’s strategy to expand its maritime operations and strengthen its presence in LNG shipping. The vessel will be chartered for an initial period of 10 years, with the option to extend for a further six years.

Scheduled for delivery in early 2027, the Amore Mio I is a modern 174,000 cbm LNG carrier equipped with advanced technologies, including onboard reliquefaction systems and IMO Tier III-compliant emissions standards.

This milestone reflects BGN’s continued investment in its logistics and asset base, supporting growing global demand for LNG and reinforcing its ambition to expand its fleet, with further LNG and LPG vessels planned over the coming years.
