Cenan has over four decades of experience and spent much of his career at a large European chemicals company, where he ran industrial organics, petrochemicals and acrylic polymers businesses.
As well as managing chemical manufacturing, sales, marketing and supply chain organizations in the U.S., he has been on the boards of directors of four JVs. Cenan has substantial experience in M&A, capital markets and investment projects.
He is also chairman of a biotech startup and is an advisor to a private equity firm. He was previously President and CEO of a company focused on biochemicals.
Throughout his career, Cenan has been passionate about assisting and improving early stage and mature companies. This passion has led him to spend time supporting startups at the UF Innovation Hub, University of Florida, and lecturing on business ethics at Pennsylvania State University.
